COSMETLOGY 600 HRS

ESTHETICIAN 600 HRS - Skin Care (Esthetics)
-This curriculum is for students enrolled in an esthetician program includes theory practical training and technical instruction covering all practices of skin care. GBC offers a carefully structured course of 600 clock hours for licensure as an Esthetician. The curriculum guides you through many types of facials, hair removal and make-up. In an age of specialization, the ESTHETICIAN or COSMETICIANS plays a crucial role in the cast of our Salons and Day Spas. As a licensed Esthetician, your skills as a make-up artist and skin care technician will serve you well in a world where "pampering" is no longer a luxury enjoyed by the privileged few.

MANICURING 400 HRS -Advance Nail Technology-Our staff has devised a curriculum that will assist you in achieving your goals by preparing you both practically and theoretically in a professional environment. With a job market that is wide open, learning the newest advancements in technology is extremely important.
Everything from full sets of sculptured nails, fills, tips and wraps such as fiberglass nylon and silk to basic manicure, pedicure, sanitation and sterilization is carefully and methodically taught. These are the types of services you will be able to offer your clients and they will continue to pay dividends for your entire life.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING 600 HRS

The curriculum for Cosmetology Instructor training includes theory, practical training and technical instruction covering all practices of cosmetology. Curriculum includes various techniques of evaluation, different supervision methods and day to day training of Cosmetology students. An addition to the normal classroom teaching techniques, our instructors are trained to use the latest PC software tools to teach and manage their students. We offer training courses in time management, power point presentation, spreadsheets and Internet related courses.

MASSAGE THERAPIST 600 HRS

The Professional Massage Therapy associates degree and diploma programs are designed to prepare the adult learner to meet the requirement for entry level employment as a massage therapist in their private practice or in the offices of physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, health spas, and physical therapists. Emphasis is placed on law and ethics, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and principles of therapeutic massage. Therapeutic modalities as adjuncts to Swedish Massage, connective tissue massage, Shiatsu, chair massage, reflexology, sports massage, and spa therapy techniques.
