INSTRUCTOR TRAINING 600 HRS

The curriculum for Cosmetology Instructor training includes theory, practical training and technical instruction covering all practices of cosmetology. Curriculum includes various techniques of evaluation, different supervision methods and day to day training of Cosmetology students. An addition to the normal classroom teaching techniques, our instructors are trained to use the latest PC software tools to teach and manage their students. We offer training courses in time management, power point presentation, spreadsheets and Internet related courses.
MASSAGE THERAPIST 600 HRS
- The Professional Massage Therapy associates degree and diploma programs are designed to prepare the adult learner to meet the requirement for entry level employment as a massage therapist in their private practice or in the offices of physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, health spas, and physical therapists. Emphasis is placed on law and ethics, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and principles of therapeutic massage. Therapeutic modalities as adjuncts to Swedish Massage, connective tissue massage, Shiatsu, chair massage, reflexology, sports massage, and spa therapy techniques.
What is student financial aid? Student financial aid is assistance which helps pay the cost of education. Funds included in this aid may be provided from several sources, including local workforce investment funds and private agencies. Most financial aid recipients receive a combination "package" comprised of more than one type of assistance program.
Deferred Payment Plan available to assist students during financial hardship. To qualify, students must be receiving financial assistance, WIA or vocational rehabilitation. The GBC program is currently a candidate for accreditation with NACCAS. Once approved, qualified students will be able to apply for federal funds by submitting a FAFSA application.
